Posted pictures from a strenuous climb with Sarah up Monument Peak, with 45 lbs. on my back…

Where we'd begin out hike, from the greenness down below: Ed Levin Park in east Milpitas.

It's a bird, it's a plane... no, it's a bunch of hanggliders!

Wish I had a zoom for this shot: a paraglider drifting over the bay.

Felix and Sarah makes it to the top of Monument Peak, a vigorous climb of 2,594 feet!

Descending down a bunch of switchbacks with a great view of the bay. We were not quite fast enough to beat darkness but made it safe and sound.
