Columbia Gorge River, OR

The Columbia Gorge River is just north of Portland, Oregon.

[Near Redding, CA] On the road on I-5.

[Near Mt. Shasta City, CA] The scenery became splendid after Redding, with awesome views of Mt. Shasta rising out of nowhere.

[Eugene, OR] In Eugene, I stopped by the famed Hayward Field, the track where lengendary Steve Prefontaine starred at the University of Oregon.

[Eugene, OR] Some buldings of the U. of Oregon. Eugene seemed like a very pleasant town!

[East of Portland, OR] Along the Old Highway next to Interstate 84 were numerous state parks and hiking trails, including the Angel's Rest Trail.

[East of Portland, OR] The drive along I-84 by the Columbia Gorge River was gorgeous!
