Visited U.S. States

Somewhere I read that the average American has only visited three states. While I suspect that statistic is incorrect, I wondered how many states I have been to. Apparently my tally is 33 plus D.C. Hmmm, not as many as I would have guessed but at least more than half.
Below is a detailed list. Also going hand-in-hand with this is trying to run a marathon in every state.
