30-minute tempo run with Jonathan and Bryan along the Poudre Trail. Heart rate was pegged between 186-192 the entire tempo run but breathing was under control. Felt very good and fast.

Run with Diana. First loop: Overland->Poudre Trail->Taft Hill. 2nd loop was around Pineridge with some rocky and rolling trails. Felt good despite only drinking water and it being very windy. Very encouraging!

Run through Los Altos-Saratoga-Cupertino. Terrible route with no shoulder or sidewalks in many places, plus too many cars and traffic lights. (Unwanted hills). Felt bloated in the first 4 miles but had some speed after that... if it were not for all the interruptions!
