Fall at Horsetooth
Today was the fall equinox, marking the official end of summer. Vibrant yellows and orange hues are starting to pop out of the canopies around Fort Collins, and it seemed like a nice Sunday for a motorcycle ride. By Horsetooth.
Maureen had been wanting to go for a ride on the Buell for a while now, so I picked her up and we motored along one of the bicycling routes I have frequented this summer over the rolling Horsetooth Hills by the reservoir. Below are some photos.
We ended the ride with a trip to Big Al’s for beef-and-bacon burgers and truffle fries. Not a bad way to begin the first day of autumn.

Hello Felix - I thought I'd let you know I did use one of your photos on my website. I put the link to the page in the "website" box below. On the page when I placed the photo, I gave you credit, of course. It's the photo of Horsetooth Reservoir. I appreciate your accommodation.
Thanks for letting me know, Karen. Cheers!
