After Kauai, we visited the big island of Kona. Kona is markedly drier than Kauai, and it shows. (Never mind that it rained nearly as much when we were there.) Kona is also famous for the Ironman world championship.
But we did not come here to to run any triathlons. Instead, we were here to visit a dear friend who used to live in Fort Collins. It would be accurate to describe the three days in Kona as Adventures with Erin.
