Tori and I did a quick day trip to climb some routes at the Palace in the Poudre Canyon. I tried to lead some hard stuff, but not too successfully. At least the water level in the Poudre River was not too high, since to get to the Palace we had to cross it.
Here in the Chamber area of the Palace, I attempted to lead The Rack (5.10d) and Love It or Hate It (5.11b), but failed miserably, only able to clip a couple bolts.
Then I tried to lead this 5.9+ but bailed after the 2nd bolt. From here on out I had to rely on Tori to lead the rest.
Our final climb was a very nice (relaxed) slab climb rated 5.9.
