I primarily spent time in Madrid to run the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and to catch a flight to Galicia.
But it’s a nice city to walk through—especially the Parque del Retiro at night. The weather in Madrid in late September is also wonderfully comfortable, although there were a couple nighttime thunderstorms while I was inside a hotel.
