Until 2015 when I purchased a second-hand Chrysler PT Cruiser, I have only owned sports cars my entire life and only one with a fixed roof and more than two seats (sort of). That makes six of seven cars with rear or all wheel drive, a manual transmission, and a sporting pedigree. That probably qualifies me as a true sports car aficionado. But with electric vehicles becoming more available, autonomous vehicles on the horizon, and the demise of the row-it-yourself stick shift, it remains to be seen how my tastes evolve in the future.
